eCycling Services can be broken down into 4 major areas, please review all topics to gain a better understanding in the services eCycling.com provides.

1.       Full Service

2.       Data Sanitizing

3.       Asset Recovery

4.       Certified Destruction and eCycling

1. Full Service

Most companies rely on our “Full Service” program to assure that their unwanted IT equipment, including computers, monitors, televisions, phone systems and cell phones will be managed professionally.  Our certificates of eCycling and meticulous chain of custody records eliminate your liability and exposure to lawsuits, fines and negative publicity from violating any of the myriad Sate and Federal regulations or from information getting into the wrong hands. We protect you from the potential dangers of electronic waste disposal because we eCycle electronic equipment in accordance with all laws and regulations.

Our full service solution includes free pick up (anywhere in the lower 48 States) and transportation to the closest one of our ISO 14001 facilities.  First, all data storage devices are identified and sanitized to DOD standards.  Then the equipment is inspected by our experienced eCycling personnel and separated by equipment to be destroyed and eCycled (certificates of destruction and video is available) and equipment to be refurbished, recertified and put back into service.

eCycling.com has partnered with Network Liquidators (NWLQ) for their unparalleled IT asset recovery service.  NWLQ has been in the asset recovery business since 1996 and has been recognized by Inc. Magazine as one of the fastest growing privately held companies in America for the past two years.  The reason for this phenomenal growth is NWLQ’s unique ability to not only refurbish but to recertify and warrantee pre-owned network and communications equipment manufactured by Cisco Systems, Extreme Networks, Compaq, Foundry Networks, F5 Networks, Nortel Networks, Juniper, Avaya, Lucent and Polycom to name just a few.

You will receive a full report detailing which equipment is to be destroyed, stripped into components with precious metals recovered and sold and which will be recertified for your reuse or sale.  Your company will share in the proceeds generated through eCycling or recertified sales.

2. Data Sanitizing

Set aside for the moment the importance of your internal data security, your proprietary information, customer lists and financial data and worry about the law.  Laws such as the Gramm-Leach Bliley Act, Sarbanes-Oxley Act, Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, and the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act hold companies and organizations responsible for protecting the information about their customers and employees. “Delete” is simply not enough. While “Delete” can remove a file from sight and allow it to be written over, it does not destroy information. Data is only gone once it has been written over completely. eCycling.com uses state of the art data sanitization methods which exceed U.S. Department of Defense specifications for security and electronics disposal. You can count on  us to securely remove your company’s proprietary information and assure your compliance with all privacy laws.

3. Asset Recovery

eCycling.com’s unique material and asset recovery program allows for us to deliver our services free of charge and even pay your company a share of the proceeds realized from precious metal and the sale of recertified equipment.

Electronics contain gold, silver, copper and other precious metals, along with plastic, glass and other metals. We use the latest technology to extract these materials from the end-of-life electronics that we process and sell them in the commodity markets.

The best end of life solution for both the environment and your company is when equipment can be data sanitized, refurbished, recertified and put back into service.

4. Certified Destruction and eCycling

When items are obsolete or repairs are unreasonable, eCycling.com will de-manufacture the equipment into various commodity groups for eCycling.   At the customer’s request a "Certificate of Destruction" and video proof of destruction can be issued.

·         All equipment is manually disassembled and the different end products are separated.

·         Circuit boards are cleaned of all batteries and mercury switches, before being shipped to a North American facility for refining of the precious metals.

·         Ferrous and Nonferrous metals and aluminum that are generated is sent out locally for recycling, along with copper-bearing components, wire and other low grade metals.

·         Plastic is baled and sent to a plastics recycling facility.

·         All recovered batteries are separated into their different categories and all are sent out to be properly recycled.

·         Mercury switches and other mercury containing devices are consolidated and shipped permitted retorting facility.

·         Cathode Ray Tubes are stripped of all hardware. The two types of glass in each tube (high and low lead) are separated in a controlled environment and bulked for shipment to a glass recycler.
