Global Investment Recovery (GIRC) owns and operates the eCycling.com de-manufacturing facilities. Why does eCycling, Inc. have this relationship with GIRC? That’s a great question. eCycling’s core business is handling the logistics of collecting, transporting, sorting and reselling of surplus IT assets. After being sorted, any equipment slated for destruction (de-manufacutre) is sent to one of GIRC’s facilities. eCycling keeps sorting facilities at or near GIRC’s de-manufacturing facilities to greatly reduce our cost of transportation. GIRC has been in the electronic recycling business for over 15 years, and its management team has in excess of 100 years combined experience. GIRC’s network of ISO 14001 certified facilities combined with its reputation has enabled them to become a single source provider for the Department of Defense’s Asset Disposition Group. These things would be near impossible for us to duplicate, so we partner with Global. Why does GIRC want to work with eCycling? GIRC’s primary business is servicing large government accounts and OEM’s. (Original Equipment Manufacturers) eCycling specializes in servicing Enterprise Businesses, Small to medium business and consumers. eCycling handles the collection and transportation of surplus IT assets and brings them to GIRC ’s facilities in large quantities (containers) of presorted materials to be de-manufactured.
